Whether you are heading into the workforce or planning to transfer to a four-year university, there is a credential at CCC built for your goal.

Business and accounting students who plan to transfer can pursue the Associate of Business (ABUS), a dedicated transfer degree that includes the Arizona General Education Curriculum for Business (AGEC-B) and is recognized at NAU, ASU, the University of Arizona, and Grand Canyon University. Hospitality and career-focused programs are designed primarily for direct employment, with some transfer options depending on your intended major and university.

Which business program is right for me?
It depends on your goals. If you plan to transfer to a four-year university to complete a bachelor’s degree in business, the Associate of Business (ABUS) is the right starting point. If you want to enter the workforce in an accounting or business role, the AAS in Accounting or Business or the Accounting Certificate may be a better fit. An advisor can help you choose the program that best aligns with your goals.
Can I transfer to a university with a business degree from CCC?
Yes. The Associate of Business (ABUS) is a transfer degree designed to apply toward a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field at Arizona public universities, including NAU, ASU, and the University of Arizona. CCC has dedicated transfer pathways and university partnerships to help you make that transition smoothly.
Do I need business experience to enroll?
No prior experience is required. CCC’s business and accounting courses are designed to build your knowledge and skills from the ground up, whether you’re exploring business for the first time or looking to formalize skills you’ve already developed.
Can I earn a credential quickly if I need to enter the workforce soon?
Yes. The Accounting Certificate is a focused, shorter-term credential designed to prepare students for entry-level accounting and bookkeeping positions. It can also be applied toward the full Business AAS if you decide to continue your education.
