Non-Credit Programs and
Courses

Learning that fits your goals

Not every class leads to a college degree, and not every learning goal requires college credit. CCC’s non-credit courses help you build skills, earn industry credentials, explore personal interests, and continue learning throughout your life. Whether you’re preparing for a new job, advancing your career, or simply learning something new, you’ll find flexible options designed to meet you where you are.

What does Non-credit mean?

College credit hours are units of measurement that track a student’s academic progress towards a degree or certificate. They represent the amount of work and learning involved in a course, and they’re awarded based on the number of hours spent in class and on homework.

Non-credit courses do not earn academic college credit and generally do not apply toward a degree or certificate program. They are not recorded on an official academic transcript and are not eligible for financial aid.

What non-credit courses do offer is flexibility, shorter time commitments, and opportunities to learn new skills without enrolling in a college degree program.
