CCC has partnered with Phoenix Truck Driving School to offer Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training in Flagstaff and Page, with a new cohort starting at least once a month. In as little as four weeks, you can be licensed and on your way to a career on the road.
Program Options
CDL training combines classroom instruction with supervised, hands-on driving experience in a real semi-truck. You will prepare for the written Commercial Driver’s License exam, earn your commercial learner’s permit, and practice the driving and inspection skills needed for the CDL skills test.
Training also prepares you for endorsement exams, including hazardous materials, tanker, and doubles/triples.

What Will I Learn?
CDL training at CCC covers everything you need to pass your Class A CDL exam and operate a commercial truck safely and professionally. Over 160 hours of hands-on training you will develop skills including:
- Safety inspections and pre-trip vehicle checks
- Operating a multi-gear transmission including double clutching
- Backing and maneuvering a 53-foot trailer
- Highway and city driving in a commercial vehicle
- Hazardous materials awareness
- Federal and state regulations for commercial drivers
- Log books and hours of service requirements

How to enroll
You do not need to apply to CCC to enroll in CDL training. Contact the program directly to get started.
New classes begin at least once per month in Flagstaff. Page classes are also available. Contact the program for current scheduling in both locations.
A note on non-credit Workforce training
